A passing thought!

Time is slipping by……………..







Time is slipping by,

I don’t know why,

Can’t do anything to hold,

Or make it stay for a while.


I don’t know what the future entails,

It just keeps on sending some unwanted mails,

I wish, could have a sneak peek into it,

Or prevent the things from getting stale.


Circles and circles are going round,

Dessert sands are making ground,

Water is nowhere to be seen,

I don’t want to collapse on the ground.


Air is still,

No cloud in the sky visible,

Breathlessness is taking toll,

Can’t get choked, or the expectations would kill.



Giving up, is not my stand,

I know I have limited choices and no magic wand,

Have to act soon or will be left alone,

And the world will say opportunity was banned.


Deadlines are to be met,

Time once gone will leave me wet,

Only few years can make or break me,

Have to therefore, ensure the things are set.


Life is too coloured to colour it more,

Have to fix the bulb to lighten the store,
Waiting for just one whisper to say that I’m there,

Rest I will take care of all the chores.
